Welcome
Welcome to the Teacher Intensive, and welcome to this little piece of paradise.
I created the Teacher Intensive to give teachers a space to grow. A space to refine the physical practice and, just as much, to deepen the understanding that carries it. This week brings together what is so often taught in separate rooms: the physical and the energetic body, anatomy and physiology, philosophy and energetics. Here we connect these threads, so that each one begins to inform the others.
This space is for everyone. Together we create a room that is respectful and attentive to one another, a place where we can grow in our practice side by side. The Yamas and Niyamas are our foundation for this week. They shape how we meet ourselves, each other and the practice.
Within this frame, you are free to make the week your own. We have the rare luxury of leaving everyday life behind: nothing to organise, nothing to take care of, only the practice and the room to give it your full attention. In between, there is deliberately plenty of free time to rest, to let things settle and to fully enjoy being here.
I’m glad you’re here.

Your Companion for the Week
This is your little companion for the week, a place that grows along with our journey.
New content will be added as we go. If anything in the programme changes, I’ll share it in the group and update it here as well. We will gather some of our results here, and any practice tasks from my side will find their place here too.
That way, you have everything in one place.
I chose this online format on purpose, because a printed journal can’t move with us. So much only unfolds over the week, as we get to know each other. Every person is different, every group has its own energy.
Of course I have my plan, and I know where I would like to take us. At the same time, I don’t want to simply set the topics. The group itself always shapes the themes too.
The same goes for the practice times. They are always approximate. When we are all deeply engaged in a topic and it runs longer, I am the last person to look at the clock and call it a day. If anything, I am the one who needs to be slowed down.
So this journal is meant to leave room for us, as a group, to find our path together.

Day 2
The first day is about arriving and tuning in.
Some of you I already know, many of you I am meeting for the first time. Through the assessment, I have already learned a little about most of you. Still, the first day is always a time to settle in with one another, and for you to settle in with me too. Every teacher cues a little differently, and every teacher has their own approach to the practice. So we take this day to arrive and tune in.
We will have two practices of around 90 minutes each. It is a relaxed way of easing in, especially after the long flight. We will practise dynamically, and the focus is first of all on arriving: creating space, in body and mind, and laying the foundation to go deeper into the practice.
