You already teach.
Now you go deeper.

A 200h training gives you the foundation. But between foundation and real understanding, there's a gap that many teachers recognize – and eventually want to fill.

The 300h Advanced Training is exactly that next step. Not more content, not more techniques. A deeper understanding of what you already know – and an honest look at what still has room to grow in your teaching.

What we're working toward is wholeness. A practice and a way of teaching where anatomy and energy, philosophy and movement, nervous system and asana are no longer separate subjects – but one living understanding that you carry in your body and bring into the room.

Anatomy. Fascia. Philosophy. Energy work. The nervous system. Deep meditation. Yin yoga. Teaching methodology. And the question underneath it all: What do you actually want to say with your practice?

"Good teaching begins with the courage to genuinely question your own practice."

Svenja Berndt – Yoga · Movement · Collective

This training is right for you if —

You already have a 200h certificate and you're teaching – or about to. You love the practice, but you sense there's more. In your understanding of anatomy. In how you use language. In the way you hold space.

Maybe your classes are good – but you want them to be truly yours. You don't just want to teach. You want to teach from a place of deep, embodied understanding.

  • You hold a 200h certificate (or the YMC 240h) and are ready to go further
  • You want to deepen your anatomical knowledge – and truly understand the body, not just know it
  • You want to expand your understanding of neurology, the lymphatic system and fascia
  • You want to penetrate philosophy deeply enough that it actually becomes applicable – in your teaching and in your life
  • You want sharper cues – rooted in real understanding, with the ability to formulate and teach your intentions with clarity
  • You're curious about energy work and how the nervous system shapes practice
  • You want to weave philosophy into your teaching, not just recite it
  • You want to practice, teach and assist advanced asana and inversions with confidence – and understand them deeply enough to guide others safely
  • You're willing to honestly examine your own practice
A note for YMC 240h graduates:
In the 240h training, we already went deep – especially in anatomy and physiology. The online phase of this training builds directly on that foundation, which means we can move faster into the truly advanced content during the in-person weeks.

Five areas.
One connected understanding.

The 300h training isn't additive – it's a deepening. Every area builds on the others and works together in your practice as a teacher. The goal isn't to collect more knowledge. It's to arrive at a place where everything connects – where you understand the body, the breath, the philosophy and the nervous system not as separate subjects, but as one coherent whole that informs how you move, how you teach, and how you show up in the room.

01

Anatomy & Pathophysiology

From structural basics to clinical understanding. How does the body actually move – and what happens when it doesn't move the way we expect? More differentiated knowledge for more differentiated teaching.

02

Philosophy & Ethics

Not reciting texts – understanding them. We go deep into the foundational systems: Samkhya philosophy and its map of consciousness and matter, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras not as a list of rules but as a living framework, the Bhagavad Gita as a guide for how to act in the world. Concepts like Prakriti and Purusha, the Gunas, Klesha and Dharma are explored not just intellectually – but through discussion, reflection and practice. The goal is a philosophy you can actually think with. One that changes how you see the body, the student in front of you, and your own life.

03

Energy Work & the Nervous System

The nervous system as a bridge between body, mind and energy. How do students regulate through practice? How do you work with prana, vayus and energetic qualities – in a way that's concrete and felt?

04

Teaching Methodology & Language

Cueing at a different level. How does your intention actually translate into what happens in the room? Verbal and physical assists, including advanced asana and inversions. The power of precise language.

05

Practice & Advanced Asana

Complex sequencing, advanced asana, arm balances and inversions – as a teacher and as a practitioner. With the ability to assist safely and to guide individually. Because true understanding of advanced practice only comes from having lived it yourself.

The thread that connects everything:
None of these five areas exist in isolation. In every module, we draw connections – between body and mind, between philosophy and movement, between what we know intellectually and what we feel in practice. This is what we mean by wholeness: not a checklist of topics, but a way of understanding that holds everything together.

How the training is built.

Phase 1 · Online

Foundation & Deepening

150 hours · Self-paced content · From January 1, 2027

  • Refreshing and deepening anatomy – from structure to function
  • Pathophysiology, neurology, fascia and the lymphatic system
  • Philosophical texts – not just reading, but actively understanding: Samkhya, Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita
  • Nervous system & regulation: theory and first application
  • Energetic concepts (vayus, pranamaya kosha, bandhas) revisited
  • Video lectures, worksheets and reflective assignments

Live Sessions · On top of the 150h

6 live Zoom sessions that go beyond Q&A. They're designed to deepen and contextualise what you've been working through on your own – creating space to discuss, question and truly understand the material together. Philosophy in particular comes alive here: not as a text to analyse, but as something to think through interactively, with others who are in the same process.

Phase 2 · In-person

Application & Integration

150 hours · Intensive weeks in Cologne · April 18 – May 2, 2027

  • Anatomy and physiology applied – in real bodies, in real movement
  • Philosophy in practice: how do you bring concepts into the room?
  • Energy work and nervous system: practical tools for teaching
  • Cueing intensive: sharpen your language, understand its impact
  • Assisting advanced asana and inversions
  • Teaching Lab: teach, receive feedback, grow
  • Complex sequencing with clear intention

Our approach.

Theory you can feel

We don't teach knowledge you memorize and forget. Anatomy is experienced, philosophy is discussed, the nervous system is felt. Everything you learn gets taken into practice.

Your teaching, your voice

This isn't about learning to teach like Svenja. It's about developing your own teaching style – with more clarity, more depth, more ownership. The Teaching Lab is your laboratory.

Personal support

Small groups, direct communication, real feedback. We know you – and we want you to genuinely develop. Not in an anonymous online course, but in real relationship.

Integration, not addition

This training doesn't hand you new boxes to add to your toolkit. It helps you understand what you already know at a deeper level – and to experience and share it as one connected whole. By the end, anatomy and philosophy, energy and nervous system, asana and language are no longer separate threads. They're woven together in the way you practice and the way you teach.

People who genuinely come from practice.
